Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2024 | Jamie Bolingbroke Interview

We spoke to Jamie Bolingbroke, skipper of Richard Matthews’ 12mR Crusader about the challenges and joys of sailing and maintaining this British 1987 America’s Cup boat. It seems very apposite that Crusader was racing in Saint-Tropez on the same day that Team INEOS won the Louis Vuitton Cup and a place in the America’s Cup final, just west of here in Barcelona.

Sadly, it’s ‘au revoir’ to Les Voiles de Saint Tropez from the BCM team. We’ve had a wonderful week here, as this festival of sailing really is everything it’s cracked up to be.
